These terms describe PERY's digital guidance, account use, paid entitlements and limitations of AI-based services. PERY refers to the brand, application and related digital services. This English document accompanies the Turkish review draft; it is not final legal approval or an effective contract.
1. Service scope
PERY provides AI-assisted information and digital guidance about child development, parent–child communication, daily routines and family life. It may offer perspectives, small practical steps and example phrases. It does not promise a particular behavioral outcome or resolution within a fixed number of messages.
PERY is not a healthcare institution, psychologist, psychiatrist, doctor, social-service authority or emergency line. It does not establish a patient/client–professional relationship or provide diagnosis, treatment, medication management, forensic assessment or official decisions about a child's safety. Using the app does not create such a relationship or authority.
A feature, resource or example is not guaranteed suitable for every age, family or circumstance. Personalization is limited by the information provided and its accuracy; it does not mean PERY knows all real-life circumstances of your child.
2. Users and authority
The service is intended for adult parents and authorized caregivers aged 18 or over. Child profiles are managed by adults. Children are not intended to use the app directly/independently, or to receive professional child counseling through it.
When adding another person's or a child's information, you are expected to have the necessary representation/sharing authority and respect their rights. This does not remove PERY's legal responsibilities or automatically satisfy every child-data/privacy requirement.
3. Account and security
Use necessary, accurate and up-to-date information when creating an account or editing profiles. Nicknames are allowed; avoid unnecessary identities, addresses, schools, phone numbers and sensitive health details. Do not impersonate others or use an account without authority.
Protect your device, email, sign-in provider and session. Report suspicious access and use the provider's security options. Do not assume every security incident is automatically detected.
A Family plan covers the supported number of child profiles within one PERY account. It does not automatically create separate adult accounts or enable Apple Family Sharing. Security checks may apply when linking purchases to a PERY account.
4. AI and professional limits
AI produces probabilistic output that may be incorrect, incomplete, inconsistent, outdated or unsuitable for your circumstances. Fluent or confident language is not evidence of clinical accuracy or professional competence. The same question may receive different answers at different times.
Do not base important health, mental-health, diagnosis, medication, safety, educational-rights or legal decisions solely on AI output. Obtain an appropriate professional's assessment for significant or persistent concerns. Writing to PERY does not replace advice from a professional who knows the situation.
Structured steps, example parent phrases and follow-up suggestions are general support. Do not follow an approach you consider unsafe; you may report an unsafe or inaccurate response. Safeguards aim to reduce risk, not guarantee detection of every emergency or prevention of every harmful answer.
Spoken replies are AI-generated. PERY should not be treated as live consultation or supervision by a human professional.
5. Emergencies
Do not wait for PERY in immediate serious danger. If there is a risk of harm to yourself or another person, a child-safety threat, serious medical symptoms or another emergency, contact official local emergency services and appropriate professional help directly.
PERY does not continuously monitor you, attend incidents, automatically verify your location or promise to call emergency services for you. Safety directions do not replace official help. Network, device or provider outages may prevent access.
6. Content and privacy
Submitting messages, profiles, recordings or notes permits processing only for the relevant service function. It does not waive all rights or grant unlimited marketing/model-training rights. Personal-data rights are addressed separately in the Privacy Notice.
Do not submit material that infringes another person's privacy, a child's rights or intellectual property. Personal information in a message is not guaranteed to be removed automatically. Keep identity documents, medical reports and unnecessary sensitive third-party records out of this chat channel.
PERY is not a clinical consultation governed by a healthcare professional's duty of professional secrecy. Digital-service safeguards are not the same as professional confidentiality or legal privilege. Choose an appropriate expert and secure channel for consequential information.
7. Plans and allowances
When offered for purchase, Single Child covers one child profile and Family covers up to three child profiles within the same account. Monthly, three-month and annual billing options may be available for both. Selectable products may vary by country, store, device or app version.
Each covered child receives a separate monthly allowance of 300 normal chat responses and 60 voice minutes. Another child's usage does not reduce that child's allowance.
Quarterly/annual billing does not release all usage for the entire billing term at once. Message and voice allowances reset in subscription-linked monthly usage periods. The applicable reset time is shown in the app.
Unused monthly message/voice allowances do not roll over. Separately purchased extra minutes follow a different rule.
General family chat may have its own account allowance, currently 50 responses and 5 voice minutes monthly, separate from per-child allowances.
Where offered, introductory/free use is limited to 10 normal responses and 5 voice minutes in total. It is not an automatically renewing store trial or unlimited access through new accounts.
A focused conversation may contain up to ten counted user messages for one topic. Starting another topic does not reset the monthly allowance. Greetings and boundary-setting replies to off-topic requests may count toward the topic counter. Urgent protective text responses are not held behind a normal message quota/paywall; paid speech generation and technical access are separate matters.
Entitlements depend on server verification, not only a displayed client counter or screen refresh. Resending a request, removing/recreating a profile or changing devices does not create new allowances. If you suspect an entitlement/counter error, contact support rather than purchasing again.
8. Voice and extra minutes
Voice usage is not only the time you spend speaking. It includes both the duration of recordings submitted for transcription and generated PERY speech. Voice onboarding may also consume the relevant balance. Text-only use does not consume voice time; reading a reply aloud again may require new speech generation.
When available, Extra 60 Minutes is a one-time, non-renewing entitlement. A verified purchase is assigned to the selected eligible child profile; it does not increase child capacity, written-message allowance or subscription duration. Unused purchased minutes are not erased by monthly subscription renewal. Monthly and extra balances may be shown separately.
Check which account/profile will receive the purchase. You do not need to buy again while verification is pending. Credits from refunded/revoked transactions are adjusted; one transaction does not grant credit twice. Contact support about unused purchased minutes before deleting a profile/account. Mandatory consumer and refund rights remain protected.
Duration and credit checks run server-side to reduce misuse. Network/provider failures may require establishing whether a request was processed. An error does not always prove no processing began or no balance was reserved; contact support for investigation.
9. Payment, renewal and cancellation
In-app purchases in the initial iOS release use Apple's App Store, with entitlements verified through RevenueCat. The purchase screen shows total price, local currency, billing period, automatic renewal and any trial terms before confirmation. The confirmed store price governs the purchase; a displayed monthly equivalent is not the total quarterly/annual charge.
An auto-renewing subscription renews for its selected billing period unless canceled in the Apple account. Renewal/charging follow Apple's applicable local store terms and the displayed renewal time. Cancel before the store's indicated deadline to prevent renewal; consider any separately displayed trial deadlines.
On iPhone, manage the plan through Settings → your Apple account → Subscriptions → PERY. Cancellation timing and remaining-term access follow store and applicable consumer rules. See Apple's cancellation instructions.
A product or price change does not give unlimited permission to charge you again for a past purchase. Changes remain subject to required store notices/consent and consumer rights. Review the timing and charges shown when changing billing period, upgrading or downgrading.
10. Refunds, restore and deletion
Eligible subscriptions can be reverified using restore purchases in the app and the Apple account used to buy them. Additional checks may be needed to connect entitlements to the correct PERY account. Consumed one-time minute packs do not use the same restore logic as auto-renewing subscriptions: restoring does not recreate already consumed credit.
For Apple-billed transactions, initiate a refund request through Apple's refund channel. Eligibility depends on country, transaction and legal rights. PERY does not approve refunds on Apple's behalf or promise a specific outcome. See Apple's refund guidance; mandatory rights remain unaffected.
Deleting your PERY account, uninstalling the app or signing out does not cancel your subscription. Disable renewal separately in your Apple account. Data deletion is not an automatic refund request or erasure of the store's payment history.
Nothing here guarantees an unconditional refund for every purchase or waives every refund right. Mandatory withdrawal, defective-service, complaint and other consumer rights remain available.
11. Misuse and proportionate restrictions
Do not use the service to facilitate violence/abuse, violate privacy, commit fraud, access someone else's account, bypass safety or quotas, fabricate purchases, process unlawful material or abuse infrastructure. This general restriction does not remove uses or security-research rights protected by applicable law.
A request may be refused, rate-limited or access proportionately restricted where necessary for safety, other users' rights or service protection. Unless immediate security needs or legal restrictions prevent it, appropriate notice and challenge opportunities should be considered. Restriction is not unlimited permission to remove every acquired entitlement without grounds.
If you believe a restriction or entitlement loss is incorrect, email peryapp.com@gmail.com. Share only necessary account/transaction details, not passwords, verification codes or card data.
12. Intellectual property and permitted use
PERY's brand, design, software and material belonging to PERY or other rights holders may be protected by intellectual-property law. Paid access does not transfer ownership of the application or brand. Use the service personally in accordance with these terms and mandatory law.
Existing rights in your and third parties' content remain protected. AI output is not guaranteed unique, free of conflicting rights or equally copyright-protected in every country. Assess the necessary rights and suitability before distributing output or using it commercially.
13. Availability, providers and service changes
Maintenance, network, device, authentication, store or AI-provider issues can temporarily prevent access to features. Fixed response times or identical behavior across every device are not guaranteed. Third-party dependencies do not remove PERY's duties for matters within its own control.
Reasonable features may change as the service develops. Material reduction or termination of paid service must take account of existing-term entitlements and applicable notice/refund requirements. These terms do not authorize abandoning all obligations for money already paid.
14. Liability and mandatory rights
PERY does not promise professional diagnosis/treatment, emergency intervention or guaranteed behavior outcomes. Obtain appropriate professional support and consider the real circumstances for significant decisions. Use of suggestions out of context or against explicit safety warnings must be assessed according to the facts.
These terms do not provide blanket immunity for intentional misconduct, gross negligence, non-excludable data-protection duties, defective services or other mandatory rights. Saying “AI-generated” does not automatically remove every responsibility. A limitation not permitted by applicable law does not apply to that extent.
No clause should be read as automatically shifting all harm to the user, rejecting every claim or waiving statutory remedies. An unenforceable term does not automatically invalidate other valid terms and must not be expanded against the user's mandatory rights.
15. Privacy and separate choices
The Privacy Notice separately explains personal-data processing and sharing. Accepting these terms does not automatically enable AI sharing, long-term memory, marketing, microphone access or notifications. Relevant choices are presented and managed separately.
Turning off a permission affects new operations dependent on it. Recalling an already transmitted request, deleting history, requesting provider deletion and canceling a store subscription are different actions. Review their separate scope and contact support if needed.
16. Requests, disputes and updates
Email peryapp.com@gmail.com with questions about the service, allowances or terms. Contacting support does not remove the right to approach a competent consumer body, court, data-protection authority or other lawful channel.
Mandatory consumer and data-protection rules applicable to the service country and user remain protected. Absence of an exclusive governing-law/court clause is not a waiver of those rights.
Material changes should be communicated appropriately, and a new acceptance or specific choice requested where necessary. Prior use does not constitute unlimited advance consent to every future charge, transfer or material change.
